ICT 2015

The NITlab team attended ICT 2015, in Lisbon, Portugal, 20-22 October 2015, where we presented the progress of FLEX and SmartFIRE projects, in the corresponding exhibition booths.

In the FLEX booth, we presented two demos in the context of the project, the "An OpenFlow based framework for seamless Inter-RAN Handoffs" and the "Operating LTE in the unlicenced band using OpenAirInterface".

NITlab participated also in SmartFIRE booth, where the progress of the SmartFIRE research project was presented, along with a demo "Content-based Video Communications with c-Flow (ICN-OMF) and Backpressure Routing over the Wireless Access Network".

Net Futures 2015

NITlab members Harris Niavis and Nikos Makris attended Net Futures 2015, in Brussels, Belgium, 23-26 March 2015.

Harris Niavis hosted a booth, where the progress of the SmartFIRE research project was presented, along with a demo presenting a Content-based Communication Architecture prepared in the context of the project.

Nikos Makris hosted a booth, where the progress of the FLEX research project was presented, as depicted in the following picture.

EUCNC 2015

The NITlab team attended EUCNC 2015, in Paris, France, 29 June-2 July 2015, where we presented the progress of FLEX and SmartFIRE projects, in the corresponding exhibition booths.

Future Internet Summit 2014 Seoul

NITlab members Kostas Choumas and Thanasis Korakis attended FI Summit 2014, in Seoul, Korea, 14 October 2014, where Thanasis Korakis gave a presentation of the SmartFIRE project.

They also participated in the 1st SmartFIRE Forum in Seoul, Korea, 14 October 2014.
